Nathan woke up bright and early on his birthday. He came in, gave me a huge love and said, "I can't believe I'm already five!" He then stretched out his legs and said, "Just look how long my legs are getting!" (Can I just echo those two sentiments? ..sigh.. ). Nathan opened his birthday presents before Daddy left for work. He was eager to try out his guitar and to wear his Detroit Tigers shirt. Then we were off to swimming lessons!
After swimming, we came home and got ready for the big outing of the day - Boingo's! Uncle Ryan, Zachary and Ainsley joined us there for some birthday fun. I think it's safe to say that everyone had a great time! Every once in a while, Nathan would come and give me a huge hug and announce, "I'm so happy that I'm five!" And, while I will miss having a four year old in the house, I can't wait to experience another year with our sweet little man. He is such a gift!
