Today my grandma celebrated her 95th birthday. She was born in Chile in 1914. It's hard to fathom all of the changes that have occurred during her lifetime. Grandma is a feisty lady and can be quite a character! Nathan and I visited Grandma yesterday, but I neglected to bring my camera. We had a nice visit and she enjoyed the small treat we brought for her - an apple pie from McDonald's! For her birthday, Grandma's three sons and daughters-in-law took her out for a steak dinner. As you can see, Grandma was a very good sport when they brought out a cowboy hat for her to wear while they sang to her!

It is a special blessing to see my grandma interacting with my children - just a few of her great-grandchildren. I am so thankful that Beth, Allie and Nathan will always have special memories of their great-grandma.
