I found this sweet note in my message box this morning. I agree wholeheartedly with my Allie Grace - I just can't believe that it's already 2009! I'm just thankful that God walks with us, regardless of the date written on the calendar. ***
We had a fun New Year's Eve and spent the evening with the people that are most important to us - our children! We made pizza, baked cookies, watched movies, played the Wii, popped popcorn, and nearly made it to midnight. Nathan popped up around 10:00 and found some of his noisiest toys. I think he knew that he'd fall asleep as soon as he stopped moving! Allie and Nathan had a sleepover in the living room, but Beth decided to head to her own bed. She definitely got more sleep there - she slept until 9:35! (Can you tell I'm jealous?)

Today we're enjoying having Phil home with us. I'm sure we'll watch more football and hockey than necessary, but we'll be together! That's what is important. We're wishing everyone a new year filled with God's blessings!
