Phil's parents gave the kids gift cards to Build-a-Bear for Christmas, so we headed to the mall this morning. The kids have been looking forward to this outing all week and they had a great time. They chose their animals, helped stuff them, put hearts inside them, "bathed" them, and dressed them. Then they chose names for them and we printed out Birth Certificates for their animals. Phil and I enjoyed watching the kids - it was really fun! Thanks for such a fun present, Grandpa and Grandma!

Home with our new friends...Beth chose a rabbit and named her Valentine.
Allie chose a bear and named her Sparkle.
Nathan chose a Triceratops and named him Trike. Notice his spiffy shin guards and soccer ball!
