We enjoyed a quick visit with our dear friends, Dave and Jen, and their beautiful daughters just before the new year began. The girls loved holding sweet little Delia and Nathan and Ella played so well together. We enjoyed staying up late playing Blokus and talking with some very special people. Unfortunately, Allie was up with the flu the night they were here and we ended up sharing our illness with them. I know friends are supposed to share the good and the bad, but this wasn't our intention! We're thankful that after several days, they are feeling a bit better. We're still so thankful that they came and hope they brave another visit in 2008. How blessed we are to have such special and lasting friendships! It's truly a gift!
