As we traveled home yesterday, the kids were all sleeping when we were heard a strange noise. Phil said, "Is that the road?" I said, "I don't think so!" We pulled off to the side of the freeway
(a very busy highway 15) and discovered that we had a very flat tire. So my husband got busy putting the spare tire on the van. The girls woke up but Nathan slept through all of the excitement! This is the view of the freeway where we were stopped:

It sure doesn't look like there is much around, does it? And, yes, it was starting to rain. But Phil got the spare tire on and we continued to the exit, which wasn't too far away. I asked Phil what we would do next and he said, "Let's go to that gas station and see if there is a Costco anywhere close by." As we pulled off on the exit, I looked over the freeway, and there was a Costco! Right there! That was such a God thing! We drove there and ended up buying the only tire that was the right size for our van -right off of the display. Our car was ready to go in about an hour - we drove out of the parking lot just as Costco was closing. Now, I know that God takes care of every single detail of our lives, but in this instance, it was just so clear and obvious that He was in control! Having a flat tire wasn't what we would have chosen, but God certainly took care of us!
