Phil is gone all weekend on a backpacking trip with his men's Bible study group. He was SO excited! I should have snapped a picture of him modeling his backpack last night but I was laughing too hard! He looked a bit like a pack mule. I hope he is staying warm tonight (the low will be around 25 degrees!) and that he returns home safely without too many aches and pains!
In the meantime, we had a full day. We invited the wives of the Bible study group (the ones that have small children anyway) over for coffee and playtime this morning. We had quite a full house. Then, after naps, we headed for a new park. The kids loved it and are eager to return again soon (with Daddy, of course)! The weather was glorious and we all had a great time.
