Since the kids had such a ball at the beach on Saturday night, we returned on Sunday for some more sand and sun. It was a beautiful day and we were wishing we had brought swim suits for the kids. Next time we'll remember! They all had a great time in the water until a big wave came and wiped Nathan out! He had sand everywhere - up his nose and in his ears. He was not amused. But after a change of clothes, he regrouped and discovered that digging in the sand is fun too! Beth loved being in the water - and Allie spent her time playing in the water with Beth and playing in the sand with Nathan. We all had a great time!

Beth was completely soaked! Two years ago, she wouldn't go near the water. Now we can't keep her out of it! She loves it!
Nathan loved digging in the sand. Next time Mommy will be more prepared and will bring sand toys along!
Allie enjoyed writing her name in the sand.
