our kids vacationed at Grandpa and Grandma's "little house"
so Phil and I could enjoy our own little vacation! 
We headed to the Santa Barbara area and had a wonderful time! We walked on the beach, explored Carpinteria, visited Reagan's Presidential Library (loved it!), went to a movie, ate dinner on the wharf, totally relaxed and slept in both mornings. What a treat! (Thanks, Mom and Dad!)

What a wonderful treat! I so miss those places by the coast. Santa Barbara is one of our favorites! Glad you guys to the time to get away. Enjoy your last couple weeks of summer!
