On Sunday afternoon, we headed downtown for a Visalia Oaks baseball game. It was "Dairy Day" and was sponsored by Land o' Lakes. So, we got really cheap tickets! That was a good enough reason to go. They had a cow milking contest - and a brand new two-day-old calf! Very cute!
The kids all started out well and were very excited to be there. But the excitement wore off quickly. Allie decided that baseball games are "boring" and Beth declared, "Our team is kind of bad!" Our team lost 4-1, but it was still fun (at least for most of us!). That said, I don't think we'll be braving another game this season - but I'm glad we experienced one anyhow!
